Engagement terms
Our contractual framework
Within the scope of our engagement it is our basic duty to deal with any sub-topic you ask us about, and to find a solution to it that meets the professional standards and the legal requirements while serving your interests.
The engagement is only complete when we jointly accept a report that is appropriate in every respect, prepared to a high standard and accurate — within the prescribed deadline.
Our work rests on the information we ask for being provided in time, truthfully, accurately and in sufficient detail. At the same time it is always our duty to flag any question we come across that obstructs performance or leads to a different outcome, so that your problems can be resolved in time.
Because of the nature of audit work we are entitled to receive all information we need for it, while your entitlement in return is to make use of the result of that work — our report — with due regard to the completeness rule.
Who sets the framework?
Our audit work, the tasks under our contract and your obligations are determined by the Act on auditing and by our professional supervisory bodies — the Chamber of Hungarian Auditors and the Hungarian Auditor Public Oversight Authority.

How liability is allocated
In the allocation of liability between us, we bear it where a wrong conclusion drawn from correctly supplied information causes damage. That is covered by the insurance the professional auditing standards require us to hold. If the contract falls through, settlement of the costs incurred is what applies.
Our fees
In setting our contract fees we aim to provide three to five years of stability. Reflecting the nature of the audit as a continuous service (a continuous presence in company law matters), we spread the annual fee across the months of the year. When pricing our time we use the minimum fee principles of the Chamber of Hungarian Auditors, which the Hungarian Competition Authority has also accepted.
