Who sets the rules we work to
What you experience as the audit is a fifth to a tenth of the work behind it
Legislative intent and market expectation have turned audit work into a constantly moving target: a task governed by many different bodies and demanding an unusually broad body of knowledge. It is spread across the whole calendar year, even if you never see most of it.
The eight components of our quality management policy cover every segment of audit work (ISQM 1). We also build in the international standard for less complex entities (ISA for LCE), which gives the users of the financial statements the same appropriate level of assurance.
Bodies we answer to
ESG and sustainability reporting
The Hungarian ESG Act, in force since January 2024, and the amended Accounting Act impose two parallel reporting obligations. The sustainability report has to be given a limited assurance opinion by an auditor holding a sustainability qualification.
Electronic client documentation
We archive every step and every piece of evidence of the audit electronically, and keep it for at least eight years after archiving. You can upload your year-end documentation to our client portal under your own username — with no paper at all.

He founded Magyar Szakértői Holding Kft. in 1997. He began his career at Memolux Kft., one of Hungary's largest accounting firms, then gained large-corporate experience as an engagement leader at KPMG Hungária Kft. As an associate professor at the Accounting Department of the College of Finance and Accountancy he has published widely in the profession.
