Since 2002 we have done audit work and nothing else
Magyar Szakértői Holding Kft. is an audit firm founded by its majority owner, Dr. Gábor Matukovics. It carries out its work to the Hungarian National Standards on Auditing, in line with its quality management policy.

ISA for LCE
We also build in the international standard for audits of financial statements of less complex entities. ISA for LCE rests on the same foundations as the Hungarian National Standards on Auditing — audits performed applying it give the users of the audited financial statements the same appropriate level of assurance.

Legislative intent and market expectation have turned audit work into a constantly moving target: a task governed by many different bodies and demanding an unusually broad body of knowledge. The partners behind our work
Who we work with
Magyar Szakértői Holding Kft. works with 10+ auditors, assistants and contracted specialists and one active chamber member auditor (the managing director and owner). It joined Magyar Szakértői Társaság (the Hungarian Society of Experts) in 2002.
The Society exists to bring together experienced specialists with different skills and a real understanding of business life, across tax, business and asset valuation, and international reporting. What that integration means in substance is a single, consistent representation of jointly agreed professional norms, and a genuine partnership in the way the work is done. The service package we offer therefore converts the results of expert work in several fields into one complex group of services.

Certified auditor since 1997 · PhD, BME (2003)
Born in 1974. Alongside his degree from the Accounting Faculty of the College of Finance and Accountancy (1995) he graduated from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences (1999) and obtained a postgraduate legal qualification at the ELTE Faculty of Law (2000). He has been a certified auditor since 1997, and received his PhD in business valuation from the BME Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences in 2003.
He began his career at Memolux Kft., one of Hungary's largest accounting firms. After that practice in bookkeeping he gained large-corporate experience as an engagement leader at KPMG Hungária Kft., while studying the substantive differences in international accounting regulation. As an audit colleague at Audit Service Kft. he gained experience in auditing small and medium-sized companies. As an associate professor at the Accounting Department of the College of Finance and Accountancy he has published widely, in books and in journals, and is well known in the profession. His work is also helped by his fluency with IT.
He founded Magyar Szakértői Holding Kft. in 1997; since 2002 the firm has provided audit services and nothing else. The more than 200 audit engagements completed each year are the measure of how satisfied clients are with the firm's services.
